Second-year Fashion Design & Construction students had the unique opportunity to step into the world of Ioanna Kourbela, through an exclusive visit to the brand’s atelier and production facilities.
Ms. Ioanna Kourbela, along with her team, shared the history of the renowned Greek brand and guided the students through the production line, the prêt-à-porter collection, and the bridal atelier. This experience offered them a rare behind-the-scenes look at every stage of a garment’s creation—from the initial concept to the final product.
During their discussion, she emphasized the importance of professional values that are often overlooked today. She also spoke about the brand’s sustainability philosophy, which prioritizes high-quality natural raw materials and ethical craftsmanship as its core pillars.
The visit concluded with a Q&A session, where Ms. Kourbela shared valuable advice and inspiration. She encouraged the students to observe everyday life, study the arts, and remain constantly open to new knowledge and learning.
