PANSiK Fashion School had the honor of participating in a unique project, inspired by the conclusion of Benefit Software’s sponsorship collaboration with the Apollon Smyrnis football club for the 2024–2025 season. Two seemingly different but equally impressive worlds came together: football and fashion.

At the heart of the project was the “Light of Smyrna” jersey, worn by Apollon Smyrnis this season. Designed through the collaboration of Benefit Software and Erreà, the jersey carries both the club’s cultural heritage and a powerful message: we don’t forget where we came from.

The Styling students of PANSiK Fashion School, divided into nine teams, were given the opportunity to creatively express themselves by designing Spring/Summer 2025 outfits inspired by the jersey. With complete artistic freedom, they developed fashion concepts that went beyond the form of sportswear—transforming the jersey into a symbol of identity and style.

Following the evaluation of the proposals, one team stood out with its bold, unconventional approach. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of Apollon Smyrnis, they suggested that the photoshoot take place entirely on a vintage bus—similar to those that once transported the club’s first fans to their new home in Rizoupoli. Their idea embraced the past while speaking the language of today.
